Let's Give this a Try

I know I swore that I would never create one of these, but I guess I have given in. I doubt anybody will ever read it, but hey, I need to something to vent to. Life is overall ok right now. My family finally has a date for the final move to Lancaster(December 19th)! Maybe things will finally settle down again after that. I really hope so.

Finals begin in about a week, and the semester is over in 2 weeks (PRAISE JESUS)! My classes this semester have been kicking my butt, but I think I am handling it well. The grades are good, not stellar, but good. But PC really gets to me sometimes. We all work non-stop just to keep our heads above water, and then we go and join stuff. I don't know anybody on this campus who doesn't spend half their time studying and the other half volunteering or doing something for their fraternity or sorority. It's crazy. No wonder we are all so eager to get out of this place for awhile.

Thanksgiving was a much needed respite from PC. I got to hang out with my dad and Maggie (the littlest of my dogs and the baby of the family) for a couple days. I kind of learned the area and I am starting to think that maybe living in Indian Land won't be quite so bad. I am still hoping for a summer internship somewhere in the Charlotte area this summer. That would be very nice. Dad informed me over break that I might get a car of my own this summer! It won't be a new car, but it will be something with a motor that runs! So hooray for small miracles. Jesus does answer prayer!

I have to go and make another payment on my Oxford trip this week. I hate to part with that much money, but this trip us going to be so amazing that I don't mind that much. The trip id going to be even better because Amanda, Kathryn, and Rebekah (some of my awesome sisters) will be coming too! We are going to party EURO STYLE!

Well, I have to go write a paper, but I will hopefully write more soon. I pray that I can make it through the next 2 weeks!
